Wild Camping
Spend the night under the stars in the breathtaking Wadi Rum Protected Area and experience the desert like a true nomad. Our wild camping experience offers a unique opportunity to disconnect, enjoy traditional Bedouin hospitality, delicious food, and admire the clear night sky in a cave and secluded setting.
Our wild ‘bivouac’ campsite is set up in a peaceful and remote part of the desert, where we gather around the fire in the evening and share a traditional Bedouin meal before sleeping under the open sky.
We provide everything you need for a comfortable night, including sleeping equipment such as a mattress and warm blankets.
Your stay includes:

Meals:
Dinner includes a traditional ‘Zarb’ barbecue, a Bedouin specialty, with dishes such as BBQ chicken, vegetables, rice, salads, and flatbread. All ingredients are sourced from local suppliers. Mineral water and Bedouin tea are available throughout your stay.
Breakfast is a simple Bedouin meal including flatbread, cheese, jam, eggs, hummus, foul mudammas, fresh cucumbers, and tomatoes.
Additional information:
This is a true wild camping experience, and there are no toilet or shower facilities available in the desert. Guests are asked to find a private spot and dig a small hole if needed, covering it afterward. Water is provided for basic washing.

Our desert camp is located in a quiet and serene corner of Wadi Rum Protected Area, offering a peaceful escape deep in the heart of the desert. Its unique location makes it the perfect base for 4×4 adventures, camel rides, and guided hiking tours. Guests can enjoy the magic of the desert sky at night and witness breathtaking sunrises in the morning.
Being the last camp and located 15 kms from the others, the place offers the most beautiful sunset and sunrise in the area
Meals
Dinner
For dinner, we serve traditional ‘Zarb’ barbecue, a Bedouin specialty cooked underground. The meal includes BBQ chicken, vegetables, salads, rice, and flatbread, with all ingredients sourced from local suppliers.
Breakfast
For breakfast, we serve bread, cheese and jam, eggs, hummus, foul mudammas, fresh cucumbers, and tomatoes, along with tea and coffee.
Our meals offer a variety of options. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements. We are happy to provide gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.
Facilities
Traditional Dining Tent
Our camp features a large communal tent where guests can enjoy meals, drink tea, listen to music, and relax. This is where we serve buffet-style dinner and breakfast.
Shared & Private Bathrooms
We have a modern shared bathroom building, with separate facilities for women and men. Both include Western toilets, wash basins, and showers, allowing you to freshen up after a dusty day in the desert. Deluxe tents also come with private bathrooms for added comfort.
Please note that water at the camp is delivered by trucks from the local water aquifer. We kindly ask guests to be mindful of their water usage during their stay.
